HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!

Best of luck to all of you for 2015! Only four months until the release of 'Dark Instincts'. In case you haven't already seen the cover...

Dark Instincts, release date: April 7, 2015

Sorry this post will be short and sweet, but I have to go back to the cave. Working hard on Derren's story for the first instalment of the new and upcoming Mercury Pack Series, and I'm almost halfway done.

Take care everyone!

It's Release Day for 'Consumed'!

This book is the fourth in The Deep in Your Veins series. It is Ava and Salem's story, and starts a few months after Sam and Jared - who are huge background characters - ascended. Just to warn all of you who are terribly fond of Sam and Jared...be aware that Ava and Salem are very different. Ava is very impish and cheery (though also deadly), and Salem is surly and not in the least bit chatty. Here is the synopsis:

Sventé vampire Ava Sanchez has a difficult decision to make: should she accept the invitation of the Grand High Master Vampires and join their legion? It will mean leaving behind her brother and her home. It will also mean working with Pagori vampire, Salem McCauley. Unlike the majority of vampirekind, she doesn’t fear Mr. Tall, Blond, and Dauntless…even if he does have some psychopathic traits. In fact, he has a raw sexuality that tempts her to drop her ‘no relationships’ rule and give him exactly what he wants from her – everything.

Salem McCauley doesn’t like anything cute, or sweet, or cheery. Yet he wants Ava with a desperation that’s bordering on obsession. And shockingly, she doesn’t look at him like others do – you know, like they fear he’ll rip out their spinal cord for fun. Now that the legion will be busy hunting the players involved in the creation of an illegal vampiric brothel, there’s no time for pursuing Ava. But Salem makes time, because he never denies himself what he wants and he always holds tight to what’s his. And that’s exactly what Ava is, whether she knows it or not: His.

Warning: Contains bad words, dirty talk, and scenes of a steamy nature.

Take care!

Upcoming Releases

The fourth installment of the Deep in Your Veins series, 'Consumed', will be released 12th December 2014. This is Ava and Salem's story, with Sam and Jared being dominant background characters. The book cover and synopsis is coming soon, and I'll be posting teasers on Facebook and Twitter.

Also, the fourth in the Phoenix Pack series 'Dark Instincts' will be released 7th April 2015. This centers around Marcus and Roni. As with 'Consumed', the book cover and synopsis is coming soon.

One last thing...I'm also working on the first installment of The Mercury Pack Series, which is a spin-off series from the Phoenix Pack. This book is Derren's story, and will be released late 2015.

Take care, everyone!

Just to Say...

I'm going to be unreachable until Monday 7th July as I'll (and I say this with both excitement and sheer terror) be attending an author signing event in Scotland.

In preparation...

Remind myself not to curse like a sailor. Check.
Attempt to put a stranglehold on my faulty mind-to-mouth filter. Check.
Remember that not everyone appreciates sarcasm. Check.
Order myself not to hide under the table out of the pressure of needing to appear normal. Check.

Maybe I'm being a little advantageous here.

Take care, S :)

Hey There, 2 Things

One, with regret, I have to inform you that 'Here Be Sexist Vampires' won't be included in the 'Tall, Dark and Supernatural Anthology'. The electronic size of the anthology was much too big, so myself and another author - Kendall Grey - volunteered to pull out. I still urge you all to buy the anthology as the authors featured in it are very talented people.

Two...it's happened again. Someone illegally copied one of my books onto a website, only changing the characters' names, and claimed it was theirs. Not only is it devastating, but it's scary because if this has happened to me twice when I have only written 7 books, the law of probability says this kind of copyright infringement is common. That's definitely a scary thought.

Even scarier, I might never have known about this if it hadn't been for a fanfiction reader who found it suspicious that the names in the story kept changing from Rachel to Jaxxon, and Noah to Connor. A google search of the names Jaxxon and Connor led her to my website, and I now worship this woman. So please, if anyone has, or ever does, find themselves a little suspicious like that, don't ignore it.

Take care all,

S :)
